BBA (Hons.) in Financial Services is a gateway to a career in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BSFI) sector, providing opportunities to work in lucrative finance positions such as Investment Banker, Wealth Manager, and Financial Analyst, among others. Students learn about mortgages, loans, insurance, pensions, investments and the stock market. Financial systems and regulations imposed by different countries are illustrated, analysed and compared.
Through combining theoretical perspectives with case studies from practice, the programme aims to allow students to develop a critical and contextual understanding of the issues, problems and solutions faced by and offered to financial services institutions worldwide. Students will learn to understand the function of financial services within a wider economic context, also from the perspective of developing countries.
Along with your technical abilities, we will encourage you to develop transferable skills that will help you stand out to prospective employers. These capabilities include analytic, research, and communication abilities.
Our faculty members take pride in putting students first, and you will always have access to academic support when you require it. Your tutors will work one-on-one with you to maximise your career opportunities. Through lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops, you will learn, discuss, and gain hands-on experience of how business and finance work.
